Setting attributes in an instance

Why do I set self.color = color and self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining for this challenge? Doesn't the init method do this for me?

Please help! I'm not understanding this.

racecar.py 
class RaceCar:
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining     

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

Your code is the __init__ method, and it sets the internal variables using the arguments.

This code passes task 1 as it is, you're ready to move on to task 2.
