Hi,
I have followed a bunch of tuts a while back to use git and to set it all up. I didn't know much and soon gave up. I have just finished the git course here on tree house and am ready and confident to use git.
I managed to clone a repo from github and over the past few days I have been branching, merging and committing all my updates to my project.
I am now ready to push back to github, but when I run the command it says I don't have permission.
So i looked around and found how to setup the SSH, but now when I try and finish the config it asks me to confirm my key. I remember making this password but I cant remember what it is.
So i was thinking is it possible for me to delete and reset my terminal config files (~/.ssh) and just start from scratch.
I'm new to mac and any advice would be great

8,200 PointsHi JP,
I think the way to go is just generating a new pair of keys from start (and remembering the password this time :P)

3,846 PointsThought I would add to this by adding a link to the tut I am using to help me authenticate my account link to tut on githun
I have setup the key and wen I run ssh -T git@github.com in terminal i get a popup asking me to Enter your password for the SSH key "id_rsa"
