Shape doesn't return the area

This is what my code returns for the shape: Shape: 0x600000000d60 instead of returning the area which is a float of value -1 and I am not sure as to why that is.

It looks like you are getting the memory address of an object called Shape. Assuming you have properties width and height then Area = shape.width * shape.height. Or shape.area. Point being, are you using dot notation?
