Shopping list not working right.

Here is the link to my workspace. My shopping list has several major bugs. "Your list has X items" instead of printing the latest item. Adds an extra blank item to list when trying to run a command. Sometimes adds commands to the list instead of running them.

Someone please help. I tried rewatching the video but he never gives me a big enough picture to see where I went wrong. It's hard to see where my mistake is when it only shows like 5 lines at a time in the video.
