When I add something to the list, it doesn't appear anything

and when I put show list it does the same thing. why?

The current code will only add to the list if the list is not empty.

I suspect that the "else" on line 33 is not properly indented. it is probably intended to go with the "if" on line 22 (instead of the one on line 31).
