Should expect to be able to program the hangman game

I'm currently doing the java track, and we are programming the hangman game. I understand everything that we are covering, but I don't think I would be able to program it on my own from scratch. Is it normal for this to be the case, or have I not been learning enough?

Hi Sean,

That question gets asked a lot so I'll take that as an indication that you're experiencing something many other students go through.

Give it time, and you'll surprise yourself how much you have taken in. For now, just keep working through the courses and maybe have a look at the extra credit bits some courses have. Try and figure those out. If you get stuck, ask questions on the Community pages - you'll soon get up to speed.

Good luck!

Steve.
