Should I change tracks?

I'm currently on the Web Design track. I started with that because it seemed like the best introduction to web development. Now though I'm about half way through and stuck in the Illustrator section. I'm taking the classes on a chromebook so it's not exactly something I can follow along with (I love illustrator and Photoshop, but I just can't afford a more powerful computer right now). I'm thinking about just changing over to the Rails track, because I feel it would be a better use of time. Does that seem like a valid course of action?

You could just start doing the other sections individually. If you click on the locked sections it gives you the option to do so. I had to do the same with the web development course. Hope this helps you! :)

If you're looking for an intro to web development, I'm pretty sure the Front-End Web Development track can be done with just Treehouse and a text editor, so that might be a good option for you (I'm currently about halfway through that track).
