Should I take the take Console Foundations before beginning the Java Track (ultimately Android Development track)?

I want to start the Beginner Android Development track but opted to tackle some Java first as suggested. However, in the first Java Basics course, it's recommended to take Console Foundations. So now I'm not sure if I could continue with Java Basics or start at Console Foundations.

I've completed the Front End Development track in the past so I have a slight familiarity with the console, but I'm sure there's more to learn. Just not sure if it's worth my time.
