Should the script src on index be updated to minify?

I noticed that Huston changed the script src originally to app.js but I don't think he ever updated index after using the minify task. Wouldn't you want to use the minified version of the app.js file that you created in the gulp task?

Yeah you definitely want to have your application utilize the minified app.js file that your gulp task is creating.
