Shouldn't pre-requisite courses just be the steps leading up to this in the Techdegree curiculum?

I'm a little confused as to why the pre-reqs for this course aren't in the Techdegree program. Should I ignore them? It seems strange to have a 7.5 hour detour.

What course are you talking about?

"Techdegree" is still a mystery to most of us - until the official release, only the beta testers have access to it.

One of the staff told me that the testers were asked not to discuss the program in the forums or social media.

The program has a series of courses that you go through in order. The pre-requisites listed for this course (in the questions section) are not a part of the Techdegree path. It does cover a lot of CSS though, so for the time being I am going to operate under the assumption that what I've learned so far will be enough for this. If my assumption is incorrect I will return here to comment and advise folks to run through the other courses first.
