Simple CMS?

Hi guys,

I have built a lot of sites for people, but I have come to a client who wants a Shopify site for its CMS ability.

I have finished the website (html, css, Java)

I was woundering is there a good CMS that works with already made sites? Shopify was just a random site that the client come across.

Thanks guys for any advice.

Two great, developer friendly sites come to mind where you can easily apply the code you've already written:

  • Barley: The great feature with this CMS is the ability to edit content inline (clients dig that!) It manages pages pretty well, and is hosted. ($12/month, with a free trial)
  • Perch: It costs a little more, but is self-hosted and extremely extendable. To my knowledge though, it doesn't have the ability to edit inline like Barley. ($79 one-time per website)

Barley is Amazing! Works very well and is easy to port from HTML to Barley!

Thanks so much Matthew!
