single-post not showing and goes straight to index.php

I have completed the wordpress theme development and started my own. I have a custom post type with fields set-up which works 100% but my other post type doesn't work, I have it showing my posts but when I click to go to that individual post it should go to single-villain.php but goes straight to index.php.
