I personally prefer to use 3rd party tools to spider my website for me and automatically generate a sitemap to add to Google Webmaster. There is hundreds of different mappers availible online.
One that I have tried that is free and gets the job done: http://g-mapper.co.uk/sitemap-generator.aspx (They also have a version tailored for Wordpress websites).
