skills property prints out skills instead of array?

var person = { name : 'Sarah', country : 'US', age : 35, treehouseStudent : true, skills : ['JavaScript', 'HTML', 'CSS'] };

for (prop in person) { console.log(prop, ': ', [prop]); } skills property prints out skills instead of its value

it doesn't log any values. you have [prop] so it just logs the loop variable prop, which is each key in the object. to get the values you need to use the myObject[key] syntax, so person[prop] will return the values associated with each prop.
