When you click on the eclipse icon does it say something like cannot be opened from an unidentified sources or that it does not exist?
It's a simple fix for this issue. Go to your system preferences and select security & privacy. In the security window click on the general tab at the top and look below there will be an option under Allow apps downloaded from called anywhere . By default it will unselected
On the left corner will be a golden lock icon click that put in your password when it asks and select anywhere and confirm in the next alert window that appears.
Now run the eclipse app and it should be fine.
ยงยง Remember to switch back to Mac App Store and Identified Devleopers option in the security once you are done. ยงยง
Also from where did you download Eclipse?
