Small Project Ideas

I am really new at web designing and I just want to practice and apply some of what I learned thus far. So, does anyone have any small project ideas that I could use as practice?

The very first thing I ever created was a personal portfolio website. Even though I didn't have any of my own work to display I just created the site with "image coming soon" spots for my future projects. This can be created using only HTML and CSS, and if you want to step it up you can even implement some JavaScript. I created my first site on codepen.io. You can even have other people on the site review your code and check out your work. You could even use Workspaces right here on Treehouse. Good luck and happy coding!
