Smells Like Bakin'

I put everything Nik instructed onto index.html and none of my browsers worked. The page would not contain or reset according to CSS. I even downloaded the index.html from the project file and still my browser is being stubborn. Someone please help me. I have both the downloaded css files.

If I understood what you're saying you are using a reset.css file and style.css file, is that correct? If that's the case it is possible that when you were linking the stylesheets you linked reset.css and then style.css which could result in styles being read differently from what you expect, because the file reads first file first, and then goes to the next one, overriding any rules that you have in the first stylesheet... I hope this makes sense ;)
