General Discussion

So, it really did only take me 6 months to get a job...

Hey, Fellow treehouse learners! Ryan Carson wasn't exaggerating (Not for me at least) ! So, I have had a treehouse account since sometime in April I believe, and I haven't been the most diligent student.

Well...today I officially accepted a full time in-house web deign/developer job! I did take a small pay cut from what I was making before as a Lead Reliability Engineer, but with room to grow I don't doubt that I will surpass it within the next year! Also, its doing what we all love here: Designing and Developing!

I just wanted to post this in hopes of inspiring you keep learning with treehouse, I know I will be! :)

I am super excited to get my foot in the door of the industry, and can't wait to see what the future holds!

Congrats, man! That's great to hear, even if you get paid a bit less, doing what you love and taking a small and temporary pay cut is well worth it. Best of wishes.

Congratulations Sage this is very inspiring!
