Socket closes automatically

Whenever I load the page, the socket connects and then disconnects almost immediately. No data is rendered to the page. It does not stay connected long enough for me to generate any changes/messages.

Is this related to a challenge, post, a project you trying to work on? Sockets for what? We need more info/description and if you are trying to build socket connections with code, we need to see code snippets too. Otherwise we have to make a bunch of assumptions and assumptions are really bad to have about code ;-)
