Solved: Code Challenges are not functioning?

I've been trying to complete some code challenges but get the following error:

Oh no! There was a communication problem.

Has anyone else ran into this or found a solution?

got the same problem here and treehouse status page were just fine, no incidents reported, very weird problem

I get the same problem frequently. I think there is a timer that sends the error. I was fixing breakfast this morning and got the error and just let it sit. It eventually accepted the answer even after the error message. It happened several other time that way this morning. There have been other times it never returned an actual result.
