[solved] Iconography: Icons not taking up space

I'm in the "iconography" section of the "how to make a website" section as I make my way down the Ruby on Rails track.

In this video Nick is teaching me to add icons to the left of the contact information. The trouble I'm having is that the images are supposed to have padding that pushes the actual information (i.e. phone number, etc) to the right. Even though my code appears to be identical to Nick's, my icons and info text overlap each other.

Here is the relevant HTML section:

<section>
        <h3>General Information</h3>
          <p>I am currently open to helping out on new projects. I'm new, but ready to learn.</p>
          <p>Thanks for visiting my site!</p>
      </section>
      <section>
        <h3 class="contact-heading">Contact Details</h3>
        <ul class="contact-info">
          <li class="phone"><a href="tel:757-555-5316">757-555-5316</a></li>
          <li class="mail"><a href="mailto:jeff@example.com">jeff@example.com</a></li>
          <li class="twitter"><a href="http://twitter.com/intent/tweet?screen_name=JeffDLange">@JeffDLange</a></li>
        </ul>

And here is the relevant CSS section:

/**********************************************
PAGE: CONTACT
***********************************************/

.contact-heading {
  padding: 15px 0 0 0;
}

.contact-info {
  list-style:none;
  padding: 0;
  margin: 0;
  font-size: 0.9em;
}

.contact-info a {
  display: block;
  min-height: 20px;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-size: 20px 20px;
  padding 0 0 0 30px;
  margin: 0 0 10px;
}

.contact-info li.phone a {
  background-image: url('../img/phone.png');
  display: block;
  padding 0 30px;
}

.contact-info li.mail a {
  background-image: url('../img/mail.png');
}

.contact-info li.twitter a {
  background-image: url('../img/twitter.png');
}

SOLVED: I did not have a colon after "padding" in my CSS code. Easy to miss! Thanks for any who dropped in.
