SOLVED: why isn't this PHP echo command accepted?

EDIT: SOLVED. I don't want to spoil the question for anyone. Suffice it to say that both tasks of PHP Basics course (variables section), require the simplest solution possible. I was making it too difficult by setting up a statement block. (that's not spoiling it, is it?)
