JavaScript JavaScript Functions Arrow Functions Create an Arrow Function

Some help would be greatly appreciated. I've been stuck on this for a while now.

greet('cool coders');

const greet = () => `Hi, ${val}!`;

greet(val);

The first error you receive is "greet is not defined". This is explained in the challenge hint "Calling an arrow function before it's defined produces an error." So your function definition should come before the function is called. 

const greet = () => `Hi, ${val}!`;

greet('cool coders');

Fixing this you receive "val is not defined". val was a parameter in the original function you replaced and should be one in the arrow function as well

const greet = val => `Hi, ${val}!`;

greet('cool coders');
