Specificity ... mmm not clear

Specificity is not too clear yet for me, is specificity when I linked a css document in the head of my website, and then by specificity I overwrite a style by giving an inline style to an element ?

Maybe this will help

It should be noted that !important is more specific than ids & inline styles are the only thing that override !important
