split string with backslash

hey I want to know how I can split my string into an array with backslash

    var page = 'localhost/wordpress-4.6/wordpress/category/css';
    page = page.split("\\");
    console.log(page);

Hey Ashu,

Not sure what you mean by "split the string with backlash" but if you're trying to split the string on a forward-slash, you can do the following:

var page = 'localhost/wordpress-4.6/wordpress/category/css';
 console.log(page.split("/")); // Logs ["localhost", "wordpress-4.6", "wordpress", "category", "css"]
