SQLite and MySQL

I've been watching a view of these courses and they seem to be all on SQLite. I am primarily going to be using MySQL for almost 100% of my projects. I want to know if the information I learn from SQLite can transfer over to MySQL. I do no the that datatypes are different between the two but the principles should be identical correct?

Most of what the courses here teach is generic SQL that should work in most any database.

Usually, when something that might be database-specific is introduced, the instructor will mention it at the time and/or it will be pointed out in the "Teachers Notes" section.
