PHP Integrating PHP with Databases Using Relational Tables Preparing SQL Statements

SQLite to PHPMyAdmin

Does anybody know what steps need to be taken to move this to PHPMyAdmin rather than SQLite?

1 Answer

Hi tomsteward,

The zip file download included with the videos contains a .sql file which you can import into phpmyadmin. Once you execute the sql file it should create the database and all the tables populated with the data.

The first video in this course has some instructions in the Teacher's Notes.

Let me know if you get stuck.

Sorted. Thanks Jason.

For anyone who looks at this post for help, you can see details about connecting to a mysql database in the teachers notes here https://teamtreehouse.com/library/integrating-php-with-databases/databases-and-php/getting-started-with-pdo
