Many of you may be familiar with Stack Overflow. It is a great community resource when trying to fix and debug the really specific technical/code issues we come across when doing web design and development.
Stack Overflow recently launched Careers 2.0, a job search and profile website for jobs related to the skills shared on Stack Overflow. Job seekers can set up a profile and link many common things to it such as github or google code repositories as well as any activity you have on Stack Overflow like answers and your reputation. Basically, it's another place to show off your skills with real evidence and employers are able to see that in your profile. Currently it's invite only, and they've given me 5 invites. I figured some fellow students here at Treehouse might be looking for a job where they can use their freshly learned skills.

13,027 PointsIt seems I snagged an invite - I appreciate this hugely although I won't be taking full advantage and looking for a job just yet. I will however have a bit of a perv and an oggle at what there is out there as I hope to be snazzing up a portfolio site amoungst other projects and then applying within the year!

Looks like they ran out! I'll remember to post here again if I get anymore invites. For those who missed out this time, I highly recommend getting on Stack Overflow. You might be amazed at just how much you know and how much you're able to help others who ask questions! They have a similar "gamification" model to Treehouse here with reputation points and badges, etc.
Watch out! It can get addicting!
