Stage 2 - Crystal Ball not working

I am at the beginning of Stage 2 for Android Crystal Ball project, and my project abruptly stopped working. I tried undoing some of my work to no avail.

package com.example.crystalball;

import android.os.Bundle; import android.support.v7.app.ActionBarActivity; import android.view.Menu; import android.view.MenuItem; import android.view.View; import android.widget.Button; import android.widget.TextView;

public class MainActivity extends ActionBarActivity {

@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

    //Declare our View variables
    final TextView answerLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.textView1);
    Button getAnswerButton = null;

    getAnswerButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {

        @Override
        public void onClick(View v) {
            // TODO Auto-generated method stub
            String answer = "Yes";
            answerLabel.setText(answer);
        }
    });
}

@Override
public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) {

    // Inflate the menu; this adds items to the action bar if it is present.
    getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.main, menu);
    return true;
}

@Override
public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) {
    // Handle action bar item clicks here. The action bar will
    // automatically handle clicks on the Home/Up button, so long
    // as you specify a parent activity in AndroidManifest.xml.
    int id = item.getItemId();
    if (id == R.id.action_settings) {
        return true;
    }
    return super.onOptionsItemSelected(item);
}

}

Need more to go off of then your explanation. Why did it abruptly stop? What did the debugger say? Are there any red lines?

I ran the debugger, but it reported nothing. There are no red lines under any of the code. When I first tried to run it on the emulator, it had a message that Crystal Ball had stopped working. I closed both Eclipse and the emulator and re-opened. Now the emulator isn't recognizing Crystal Ball at all.
