Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Conditional ints

Stage 3 Error

I'm trying to complete the first task in Stage 3 Perfecting the Prototype.

I entered int numerOfPeople = 3;

What am I doing wrong?

I think I have the right format.

Does it need to be in "" or ()?

Your syntax is correct, you just made a small typo and the quiz wants you to follow an exact naming style. Change "numerOfPeople" to "numberOfPeople" and you should be good to go.
