Starting front end freelance business

Two months ago I had this plan to create a freelance business, initially focusing on front end development. At that time, the web design track had almost every project/deep dives and more than that of the front end dev track so I enrolled in web design track. After doing the smells like bakin' html and css project, css foundation, responsive web design by Allison, aesthetic foundation, intro to programming I got my first job as a freelancer. After that I have had about 5-6 more projects which I completed successfully using the knowledge from treehouse(Thanks teamtreehouse and the wonderful community! :)). I was trying to follow a plan of completing the track and take my freelancing one step up by creating a business around it but now in the recent few weeks, there has been a lot of changes in the tracks and I really don't know when and how I should proceed from here. Here is the plan that I had before taking a bolder step towards creating a front end brand and develop from there onwards: 1.JS foundation 2.Build and interactive website(not in track now) 3.Design foundations 4.Photoshop foundations 5.Illustrator foundations 6.Console foundations 7.Git Basics 8.How to freelance 9.How to market your business

most of the above has been distributed to different tracks. Any idea how to move from here and start a front end business?

Thanks.

Hi Rashid, you could continue with your original plan if you want to. All videos are available in the library and you can sort by category (e.g. by business).

The tracks have undergone some big changes recently and some of the original courses have been updated. I'm sure that can be disruptive/disorientating but hopefully the new tracks will be an improvement for future students.

Is there a particular area you want to improve on at the moment?

Hello Tom :). I guess I can follow along the path I already created. There is an off-track option for every locked course in the tracks and I might just do some of those. The change is really great and the learning paths seem more structured and hope to use that to my advantage in learning new skills.

At the moment, I am mostly trying to learn the front end technologies and start a business around that, gradually build up to backend and incorporate that knowledge to my business....in the end, tread in the footsteps of full-stack developers..that may take time..but I am willing to do it:)
