Oscar,

You are in the right place, the team here at TreeHouse are amazing people, they support you and the community is really a great place. I am sure you will do great in your quest to become an amazing coder. If you have any questions, just post on the forums here or on StackOverflow and most of the time, you will get an anwser, explaining in detail the problem. I hope this is some encouragement. You will go far if you just keep with it and don't get discouraged. Keep trying and trying and just know ahead of time, you will make stupid mistakes, you will make mistakes, but just learn from them and that will make you a better coder!

Thanks for the encouragement. Learning to code has been rewarding and, at times, relaxing after a long day of work. Look forward to meeting the community as my time progresses on here.

Peace!

This is the place to be because they teach you right. I'm a self taught web designer, but I didn't really learn the right way. I learned bits and pieces to make my design "work", but it was neither valid nor was the code really aesthetically pleasing. I've gotten really far in these past 2 weeks. Good luck man.

As long as you practice you will get far, and quickly!

Thanks for the insights and also affirmation in Treehouse. I had read some reviews and another programmer recommended it, but I wasn't sure about personal testimonies from fellow users. Glad to hear that this has been a good place for you to learn code. I look forward to the journey ahead!
