Starting on creating the portfolio website?

I've just started coding and I picked the portfolio website course. Do you think this is the correct course to pick for a complete newbie?

Thanks!

Hi Brad,

If you haven't done any coding you might want to start with this track: Deep Dive HTML

Hello Jeff, I've kinda already went through a little with this website. Do you think it would be okay to continue and come back to deep dive when I finish?

Thanks, Brad

Sure, why not? If you get a little lost backup.

Okay, thanks a lot. You see, I'm 14 and I honestly have never coded before. I just started on that as it looked appealing and it was beginner.

Thanks, Brad

Do you think I should perfect HTML before I perfect CSS?

Definitely. Learn HTML first, then CSS then move on to PHP.

This course includes a lot of CSS, so I guess that's okay?

Yeah. HTML is relatively easy to master. CSS can be a little more tricky, but keep plugging away at it.

Okay, thanks for the help. Do you think I should complete this course and move onto Deep Dive or start Deep Dive now and return to the course later.

If you're coping with this course, continue. If you're struggling then move on to the Deep Dive.

The HTML part was easy, I'm just a bit confused with wrappers and certain widths and stuff.

It will come with practice. Best of luck!
