Starting the "Build a simple PHP application" project - any tips/advice?

Im starting the PHP project, any tips, tricks or advice? And please don't tell me to use the windows command prompt because as I've always said before; I wouldn't know how to follow along with the video tutorials. So I'll just stick with ruby and rails :)

Just follow along with the Treehouse videos. If you run into problems or are having a hard time understanding whats happening or if something isn't working just post here in the forums and someone will surely try and help.

Also Google is your friend. There is plenty of documentation on PHP as well as YouTube videos.

Most of all just experiment with the code. Intentionally make the code error/fail. Dont be scared of getting errors in your application. Making mistakes is the most effective way of learning and building.

Start with HTML.
