I think you meant WordPress Development.

Zac keeps referring you to WordPress development courses right? I suggest you just follow along and don't worry, he got you covered when you reach that course/stage.

I am half way through WordPress development track now.

I suggest you finish "Learn WordPress" Track and then start off with WordPress Development.

Make sure you already know your HTML, CSS, JS and PHP before you begin as well!

Zac Gordon would you recommend going through the "Learn Wordpress" track and the "PHP for Wordpress" track BEFORE doing the "Wordpress Development" track? I have zero experience with PHP.

yeah word press lol. thanx a lot

you have to finish the Learn WordPress, and know how to move about in the cms, only then can you progress to web dev.

Some basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS and PHP would help in this current track. When it comes to development, get familiar with these languages before diving in.
