startswith() help

I need to print out a list of continents that start with A. How can I properly achieve this?

continents.py 
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
# Your code here

print("Continents:")
for continent in continents:
    if continents.startswith("A"):
        print("* " + continent)

You have the right idea, but you're testing the wrong variable (or possibly just made a typo):

Test the string ("continent", singular) instead of the whole collection:

    if continent.startswith("A"):    # not "continents" (plural)
