CSS CSS Layout Basics Getting Started with CSS Layout Creating a Sticky Footer

Sticky Footer

Did the sticky footer work for anyone?

It seems pretty straight forward but didn't work for me...

You might want to check with Can I Use to see if the features this requires (like "calc") are supported in your browser version.

Other than that, look for typo's (that usually explains most of my own unexpected results).

Thanks for the tip. I noticed this issue when I was testing a problem with calc in another broswerβ€”it doesn't quite calculate correct in chrome on PC without overflow:auto. Turns out I have Safari 5.1.7 installed, and that's because I never use it lol. Still, good to know!

Also it helps to delete your browsers cookies and cache. Or at least that helps a lot of the times for me (and in this situation when the sticky footer wasn't working in Chrome)
