Still can't drag items into workspace

Hey,

So it seems that I'm still unable to drag images from the img folder into workspace. I was doing fine on the web design track and was hardly getting any bummers. I've been making lots of notes throughout the video's so I know what I have to do. My problem is that the grey box in the side bar just won't appear for me. I've tried asking in the forums (this is my second post about the same issue) and I've tried emailing treehouse for help. I was told by someone from treehouse to download a program called 7zX which I did and unzip the files... that didn't work. Then I was told to simply double click but that just opened a new window with a bigger image that I wanted. I also tried using terminal short cuts and that didn't work. I'm really stuck. I'm using a macbook pro with safari from mid 2014. (I'm fairly certain that the images are already decompressed and that the real problem is with workspace).

Hm, have you tried clearing your cookies in Safari? Maybe even tried a different browser such as Chrome?

Also, make sure you're dragging and dropping your images into the bottom left hand corner and not just anywhere on the sidebar.

Can you provide a screnshot of what your workspace looks like?

I haven't cleared out my cookies yet, I must try that. I've also tried firefox but the same thing happened, the grey box wouldn't appear. And yeah I've been trying to drop them in the bottom left hand corner just like in the video.

The next step is the one that I'm having trouble with since it's the first time where I've had to upload anything to workspace.
