stop push notifications if user inside the app

hello,

i follow along with Ribbit Application and everything is very well but i have the issue that

if the user is inside the app and he receive a message he will also receive a notification

so how do i stop that to make it if the user inside the app stop notifications and if the app is closed make the notifications running.
