the first question - Store the value of the text input element in the variable inputValue

let inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName'); // half only completed, try to get the value which is entered
//in the textbox.

Hi Antonio,

you have correctly identified the element with ID, now you have to use this variable and assign to it the content from input, you can "gather" the content by using value method on the inputValue object. It will take the "value" from the element with ID "linkName" and store it in inputValue variable.

let inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName');
inputValue= inputValue.value;
