Strange error with Filezilla

This is odd, perhaps someone can help.

I can connect to my own remote server through Filezilla, but not another remote server (client's). This doesn't sound like a firewall issue on my end. They can get in, but I can't .

It tries to connect, but then it stops.

I get a 530 error. Critical error. Could not connect to server.

Any thoughts on troubleshooting this?

A 530 error is usually an authentication error
