Strange Question?

Hey guys-

+1 if you would like to see a deep dive or project covering the basics to intermediate of working with 3rd party API's (hopefully a rails project!).

For me this would be like losing those first couple pant sizes on a diet. You can build something really cool really quickly using various API's. It helps get you to tangible results faster and when I have results I can see I want to keep "losing pant sizes".

I think the power unleashed by properly knowing how to do this is great for learning and motivates a lot of beginners to keep learning maybe after hitting some initial walls.

Throw a hot little +1 in here and we'll be able to do stuff like this for real!

I'd love to see some API stuff here. In the meantime Codecademy just launched some new API tracks that you can use to get a jumpstart. http://www.codecademy.com/tracks/apis
