String Member Variable

The Code Challenge ask....

"Now add a String member variable named mTitle. Make it public."

for which the following compiler error is returned...

"./PictureBook.java:2: error: class, interface, or enum expected public String mTitle; ^ 1 error"

Am I missing something?

You need to put the string inside the class :)

public class PictureBook {
  public String mTitle;
}
