I suppose if your Flask application is going to get very big and very complex then may be subdivide them into there own apps within your app to manage it better like shown in the url docs you attached (this is the way its done in django). I have done a flask app where very quickly it blew up into being something very complex and did get hard to manage, flask is meant to be a micro framework and is good for small apps. If you are handling a big application I would suggest going with Django. This is my opinion on the topic
