I went over and over this code, with evermore abstruse alternatives, and I can't get it to validate. What is wrong here?

21,916 PointsGot the solution from the forum. The reason the code wasn't validating... was because I was using .footer instead of "div.footer"!!
The time I lost on this because of this idiocy....
