stuck on continental task 2 challange

Could someone please assist me as to what I am missing in this code?

continents = ['Asia', 'South America', 'North America', 'Africa', 'Europe', 'Antarctica', 'Australia'] for continent in continents: if continents[0] == 'A': print("* " + continent)

1 Answer

you are checking continents[0], which means you are checking if the first continent (Asia) is equal to A. You are looking through each continent, so that should be continent[0] since you are checking for the letter.
