Java Java Objects (Retired) Creating the MVP Comparing Characters

stuck on this exercise please help

hi, can somebody please show me where i gone wrong and what the solution looks like in this exercise

So you're gonna want to leave the line declaration as how it is at the beginning. Your last name check is spot on (Except you might want to use <= instead of just <). What you're returning however is what the line is going to be, whether that's 1 or 2. So check what you're returning, make sure it's only 1 or 2, and see if it clicks
