This is done in the in the SCSS not the HTML.

Similar to the following...

%myPlaceholder {
//styles
}

i don't know what i need to style? placeholder it is for input so i don't understand if i need to modify the html

In the first challenge you are to style the .animals class and then extend those styles to the .dog class.
