12,035 Pointssubpages on website??
Not sure if subpages is the right word but, how would I go about changing parts of a page but not jumping to a whole new html page. So say I had thumbnails that have links for the site, but then i had a link that said view as list. That once clicked changes the thumbnails to just words. I see it used on a lot of websites and when you click the links it doesn't seem to refresh the whole page just the area needed.
thanks for any help in advance

4,938 PointsThe dynamic changes in html is made by using some javascript usually, i' m sorry but you can't do it with a simple html code! At least you need some php code, but you still need some refresh in this case. Usually dynamic = javascript!

Courses Plus Student 7,225 PointsWhat you're asking for is why there are so many new Javascript frameworks popping up lately. Single-page applications are all the rage, and for a good reason.
I would look into some of the popular JS frameworks. I'm personally a fan of AngularJS. It's easy to learn the basics and you can do virtually anything with it. What you're looking for can be accomplished after a basic tutorial or two. Best part is Treehouse even has a course for it! Check it out!
