Suggestion for Intro to Programming and JavaScript Foundation courses: Have Project Files ready for download.

For the Intro to Programming and JavaScript Foundation courses, can you please have the project files contain some code to start? Not the completed ones, but at least the html file should reference the .js file (with code contained) at the bottom.

I find it frustrating to pause a video before the start of the lesson, and type the source codes in myself in my text editor (not Workspaces). Plus, each topic is different (scope, math, etc.) and I have to create separate .html files and name them accordingly.

Come to think of it, I think this might be a bug, as I think there used to be a link the project files.

Can you do me a favor and send an email help@teamtreehouse.com and let them know that the files are missing from this course.

wow

Well, I would like to post this to Jim's profile (if there is a way to do that). Other instructors in my Front-End Web Development track had some files prepared for the lessons with some code for me start, and I type the codes in as the lesson progresses. I use Brackets as my text editor, btw.

I'm NOT asking the instructor to complete the codes for me, just to be clear.

I did that. I deleted some code (if necessary) and saved those under new .html to the name of the current lesson.

Yep, Treehouse has improved methodology quite a bit over time. If memory serves this was one of the first Treehouse course's ever made.

As a matter of fact, this course is being re-done and the new version is due out later this month (October 2014)

I like the upcoming course curriculum better! However, I've already taken the JavaScript basics and moved on to the jQuery. The Front-End Web curriculum changed at least 3 times already, since I started in July. I know that they split the HTML tables and forms up from the previous Intro to HTML course.

Just sent an email. To sum it up, there are no project files at the beginning the of Intro to Programming. All sections of the JavaScript Foundations course have no project files. Only the video files are there.
